Preloaded elements are different

  • Preloaded sequence elements may be updated from time to time with new versions of GeneDesigner. They therefore differ from user-added sequence elements in the following ways:
Moving pre-loaded elements
  • Moving a pre-loaded element or folder of elements will automatically create a copy of the element / folder.
    • When sequences are updated, only the elements / folders in their original locations will be updated.
Editing pre-loaded elements
  • Pre-loaded elements or folders of elements must be copied before editing.
Deleting pre-loaded elements
  • Pre-loaded elements or folders of elements cannot be deleted.
